FREE HOLIDAY CAMP PROVISION FOR ALL VULNARABLE & ELIGIBLE FREE SCHOOL MEAL ELIGIBLE CHILDREN
APF recognises the ongoing cost of living crisis and its impact on people's mental health (including children).
OUR PROJECT
We are delighted to be delivering the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme once again over the festive period to provide children vulnarable access to free activities during the holidays and a nutritious meal each day. Such vulnarable children include those:
- Eligible to free school meals
- living in areas of high deprivation or from low-income households who are not in receipt of free school meals
- With Specific Educational Needs (SEND),
- Children Looked after (CLA),
- Children who have low attendance rates at school or who are at risk of exclusion,
- Ukrainian & Afghanistan families
Our FREE Holiday Camp will take place across Milton Keynes and Bucks, where we will aim support children and aged 4-14 (4-11 in Milton Keynes) who receive Free School Meal or those families experiencing economic hardship in our local community.
Our HAF Camp will include;
- Sports (such as badminton and rounders)
- Extreme (sumo suits, archery)
- Physical Activity sessions (dance and exercise circuits)
- Arts and Crafts (clay modelling and painting)
- Exciting and active healthy lifestyle sessions
- A FREE healthy hot lunch
- FUN!
A typical day on camp includes high-energy team games, sports, individual pursuits, House competitions and Star of the Day certificate awarded to the most impressive children. All of our venues are chosen for their excellent facilities and coaches plan their sessions to make the most of the indoor and outdoor space (if available).

Children will need to bring along a refillable drinks bottle, a snack for break-time, wear suitable clothes for indoor and outdoor activity and arrive with lots of energy. We will provide the rest!

- Netherfield Meeting Place: Netherfield (Ages 4-8) 9am-1pm
- The Trinity Centre: Fishermead (Ages 4-8) 1:30pm-5:30pm
- Tickford Park Primary School: Newport Pagnell (Ages 4-11) 9am-1pm
- Greenleys Community Centre: Greenleys (Ages 4-11) 1:30pm-5:30pm
- Leon Leisure Centre (Bletchley) (Ages 4-8) 9am-1pm
AYLESBURY - 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th, 30th December and 3rd January
- The Mandeville School (Aylesbury), (MULTI-SPORTS CAMP ages 7-14)
- The Grange Secondary School, (Multi-Activity Camp - Ages 4-14
