STUDENTS ARE ASSESSED at the start of the course and are placed into small groups according to their ability and age.

LESSONS ARE DEVELOPED according to the level of the students and their prior knowledge, skills and understanding.

LESSONS ARE AIMED to encourage the full participation of each student with each and every child having sufficient time to practice and produce the target language.

HOMEWORK is assigned each day and checked by the coach. Daily feedback is also provided by the coach/teacher to the parents about what is learnt and the learning behaviours of the student.

WEEKLY PROGRESS TESTS are conducted to show individual progress of each student and what they have learnt.

STUDENTS WILL DISPLAY their achievements at the conclusion of the camp.

MORNING LESSONS - targeted English teaching

Develop strong skills in English grammar, syntax, pronunciation and colloquial usage in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Expand your vocabulary and build the foundation to support superior English reading and writing skills leading to a strong application to an English-speaking school or college. Students study English for approximately 2-3 hours each day, with an experienced English teacher and each student receives personal attention. Planned lessons are fully covered and understanding is checked before homework is assigned.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES - Consolidation of learning

Students participate in various planned activities alongside UK nationals, which are designed to allow them to express what they have learnt in the morning sessions. This includes enriching activities as they experience and extend their learning through activities they would not pursue, thus improving and enhancing their skill development. Engagement is not only enhanced through the high quality/skilled teachers and coaches we employ, but the variety of activities on offer. The Multi-Activity programme fits into four main areas and timetabling allows students to experience at least one activity from each these per day:

  • Our Camp extreme activities (such outdoor survival tasks, archery & inflatables) offer risk taking and character development and a better understanding of how to keep safe.
  • Our traditional and non-traditional sports activities improve and enhance skill development and resilience among learners.
  • Our physical activity sessions (such as dodgeball and capture the flag) allow students to gain a better understanding of keeping physically healthy. These bespoke programmes increase opportunities for teamwork and therefore building friendships and allowing students to feel included.
  • Our arts and crafts activities (such as resistant materials projects, clay modelling, painting and drawing) are delivered by teachers and coaches who naturally embed a ‘therapeutic’ approach to developing and improving emotional wellbeing (including reducing stress levels and anxiety).
