I am sure you are aware of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme 2022 and that APF Activity Camps are providing a summer Camp for those children entitled to benefits-related free school meals (FSM). However, as an inclusive camp provider, we are looking to ensure that all children can access our activity camps. We acknowledge the challenges that Ukrainian and Afghanistan families living in the UK have faced recently, and we would warmly welcome the opportunity for them to build relationships and have fun over the school holidays. We are therefore offering our camps to these families at a reduced rate (50% off).
This Multi-Activity Camp Includes extreme activities (such outdoor survival tasks, archery & inflatables) and offer risk taking, character development and a better understanding of how to keep safe. They also include physical activity sessions (such as dodgeball
and capture the flag) and allow students to gain a better understanding of keeping physically healthy. Finally, the programme
includes arts and crafts activities (such as resistant materials projects, clay modelling, painting and drawing) delivered by teachers and coaches who naturally embed a ‘therapeutic’ approach to developing and improving emotional well-being
(including reducing stress levels and anxiety).
